At first his worst nightmare, Master Chief Billy Sunday becomes his biggest ally in his fight to complete the course. In his struggle he overcomes and terrible injury, racism, and tons of other problems as he takes on impossible odds.

The Abandoned: An American adoptee gets snared in an endless maze of terror while, after getting a bizarre invitation, she goes back to Russia to find out where here roots are. In her dark and scary childhood home, she is tested by untold evil powers and troubling mysteries from her past. This film is a European throwback, in the horror genre. A Good Woman: Ill-imagined rendition of Oscar Wilde’s Woman Windermere’s Fan filmed few times across the years, set in Italy instead of England and updated from the 1890s to the 1930s. A number of Wilde’s British characters now are Americans; one of them is Mrs. Erlynne a sorely miscast Seek, a bankrupt adventuress who shows up in Amalfi and decides to seduce very wealthy, recently wedded Robert Windermere Umbers. Cast includes Helen Seek, Scarlett Johansson, Milena Vukotic, Stephen Campbell Moore, Mark Umbers, Tom Wilkinson, and Diana Hardcastle. (93 minutes, 2005)

Bugs Bunny’s Third Film: Yet a new collection of Warner Bros. cartoons, with more superior-than-normal connecting material. Some excellent shows with Daffy Duck, Tweety and Sylvester, plus Ditch Jones’ classic “One Frog Late afternoon” minus the punch-line, although these are still more superior seen as individual briefs, and not as an ersatz characteristic film. The movie was generated by Friz Freleng. (76 minutes, 1982)

40 Year Old Virgin: Andy Sitzer is 40 years old, and is still a virgin. When his co-workers learn of his situation, they are now on a mission to get him laid. Mishaps and adventures follow, with love just around the corner.

Dick Tracy: Big Boy Caprice and his mob are wreaking havoc on the streets of Chicago. Add to that, a loyal girlfriend, an orphan needing his help, being seduced by the sultry Breathless Mahoney, and a new threat in town know as the Blank, and you can see that Dick Tracy is a very busy man. It will take all his powers to save the city.

Ivanhoe: Virtually a classic phenomenon harmed by dodgy inscribing of Walter Scott’s fable of England in Middle Ages, in nights of chivalrous horsemen; beautifully photographed on location in Incredible Britain. Cast includes Robert Taylor, Joan Fontaine, Elizabeth Taylor, Evelyn Williams, George Sanders, Norman Wooland, and Basil Sydney. (106 minutes, 1952)
